End of Class

Well, it's the end of this term and I am really kind of glad. This course has been a struggle for me. First with trying to keep myself on task and also worth having to huge papers that were due for this class and another. I feel that I have a lot of areas that still really need improvement. One major area would be my organization. I still really struggle with that. I am still not a big fan of writing, to be honest I really do not like it. I also still struggle with my confidence level when it comes to my writing. Hopefully, with time I will be able to overcome this.

I hope everyone has the best of luck with future courses and maybe I'll "see" you in some future classes!

How is school influencing my life?

AAAAHHHHH!
I think sometimes I really want to scream! Some times I feel that it is safe to say that school (& kids, & work, & husband) may be driving me CRAZY!!!! Right now I feel a little overwhelmed because I do have to huge papers due, the one for this class and one for another class. I am really trying to work ahead so I don't feel so overwhelmed and crazy. I am also really trying to organize my days better so that I can get more done.

I am hoping that this crazy feeling doesn't hang around too much longer!!!

Forgot to ask!

Hey I forget to include this question...
Why is it considered plagiarism if you reuse one of your own papers?

Plagiarism

I think that it is very important to cite sources in a paper because it gives credit to the person/persons who came up with an idea in the first place. If someone were to read a paper that you wrote and then wanted to do some more research just to learn more about your topic and they found the same information that was in your paper in another and you didn't cite your sources, you could be in trouble. I know I wouldn't want to be expelled from school or fired from a job because I stole someone else's idea, I would think something like that would stay with you for a long time.

Brainstorming

Hey everyone!

I would like to get your opinion on something. I am writing my paper on autism and am wondering if I should include my daughter's story in the introduction? I am also wondering if you guys may have any ideas as to what I should include in my paper. I am thinking of looking at the possible causes of autism and the different types of treatment that are available. I know that some of causes and treatments could be very controversial (I have personally dealt with this).
Is there something specific that you may want to know about?

Hey everyone!

Well got my blog set up. This is going to be new for me. I have not been one to blog, I'm not even on facebook.

Today was kinda crazy. I am not really sure what was up with my three kids but I tell you what, they were just full of it, well, at least my two boys. My two year old, Gabriel, was in to everything! climbing on my kitchen counters, getting into the fridge, you name it he was probably trying to do it. My 7 year old, Connor, on the other hand just couldn't stay focused on one thing for more than 2 seconds. He'd start to play a video game then the next thing I know he's outside encouraging his little brother, they have a "monkey see, monkey do" relationship usually with Gabe trying to be like Connor.
I also have a daughter, Sabrina, 11 years old. She was pretty quiet today. She mainly played on the computer or watched a movie in her room. She does tend to stay away from the boys, I think they may drive her as crazy as they can drive me.

Well, hopefully tomorrow will be a little calmer. I'll keep you posted:)
