Hey everyone!
I would like to get your opinion on something. I am writing my paper on autism and am wondering if I should include my daughter's story in the introduction? I am also wondering if you guys may have any ideas as to what I should include in my paper. I am thinking of looking at the possible causes of autism and the different types of treatment that are available. I know that some of causes and treatments could be very controversial (I have personally dealt with this).
Is there something specific that you may want to know about?

Melissa,
ReplyDeleteAlthough the causes of autism would be interesting I think some of the treatments would be more so. I don't think they've really pinned down why autism occurs, but there are some proven treatments that improve the quality of life. I wrote a couple of articles a while back on autism and I found the some of the treatments to be very interesting.

Thanks for the info, Dian. I believe that I am leaning more towrds the treatments because they may be less contorversial. I have recently read about some alternative treatments that have really helped some children.
ReplyDeleteHello Busy Mom I do so think you should inclucde your personal story with your daughters battle with this illiness. By using your own personal account of something makes you more passionate when writing and you have first hand accounts on what does and does not work. I am using a very personal story myself with using living with the effects of Multiple Sclerosis. I personally have lived with this illiness since 2003 when it was found that I have it and it has been an interesting rocky yet good road to be on. I hope you find some peace when writing about your daughter and her life with autisim
